Hi! I’m Dan— a photographer who used to make toys.
I grew up in Vermont where I spent lots of time outside with a camera. I studied engineering & design, spent 3.5 years making toys at Hasbro, and then spent 2.5 years at Amazon building Glow, which connected young kids with family over any distance through play.
In 2020 I moved to NYC to do photography full-time, about a month before the pandemic hit. Since then I’ve directed launches for consumer product brands, kayaked inside pitch-black 25-million-gallon water tanks, and connected with some truly incredible people, both in front of and behind the camera.
