Weis Manufacturing Brand

I work closely with Weis on their brand strategy. I also create content for their web & social.

They build bicycles by hand in New York City, and the brand pushes bike culture into art & music.

Process

A big part of hand-built bikes is not seen. I created a collection of editorial pieces for web & social that give fans and potential customers a way to dive into and learn more.

Design

I restructured and redesigned the weismfg.com website, to make it a destination for customers to dive deeper into the brand, and to check regularly for updates and drops.

Selected banner designs created for website announcements.

Custom paint is a big part of what compels customers to purchase a frame, even though it’s only the surface-level beauty.

Based on this insight, I created a photo-realistic frame customizer in Photoshop, enabling paint scheme mockups to be rapidly created, customized, and presented in a much more compelling way.

Fun fact: The yellow one was actually built in real life for a customer who saw this mockup on Instagram and asked for it.

Launches

I’ve produced shoots for a handful of new releases. The Hammer Road SL frame was displayed at Rapha NYC in Fall 2020, alongside prints and a product book I designed.

Moments

Selected images capturing the brand’s story and NYC roots.

Some are from a “Rider Check” series I started, which is a spin off the traditionally bike-focused “Bike Check” photoshoot.
